On June 5, Sony announced the launch of its latest LED display product series, Crystal LED CAPRI.

The CAPRI series uses P2.5 pixel pitch, with a maximum brightness of 1500cd/m², and has core advantages such as high refresh rate, high brightness, wide color gamut and anti-reflection.
In addition, this series also features flexible installation, mature structural design, easy maintenance, and can be seamlessly integrated into Sony's virtual production ecosystem.
It is reported that the CAPRI series includes two new models: ZRD-VS25FB and ZRD-VS25FM. The new series of applications are targeted at fields such as television, film, advertising, broadcasting, as well as rental and stage events, providing more cost-effective virtual shooting solutions to a wide range of customer groups.
The CAPRI series is expected to be launched in the winter of 2025, and actual samples will be displayed at the upcoming InfoComm 2025 exhibition.
Currently, Sony has built a complete ecosystem in the field of xR production, covering movie cameras, PTZ gimbal cameras, free Mark camera tracking systems, LED displays, multi-camera live broadcast switching, remote production solutions, rehearsal tools, mobile motion capture equipment and virtual production toolkits, etc., to help users achieve an efficient and collaborative xR virtual production process.
